Mekami is a community for people who take their games seriously — not competitively, but personally. The ones who remember exactly where they were when they finished a game, who keep a mental list of what to play next, and who trust a friend's recommendation over any algorithm.
Why Mekami
Most tools for tracking games were built to show you data about yourself. Mekami was built so you can share your taste with people you actually know. A log of what you've played is only useful if it helps someone else find what to play next.
The name comes from the Japanese めかみ — a nod to the culture that shaped the medium we all love, and a reminder that games have always been more than entertainment.

Who we are
Mekami is made by Akudreams LTD, a small software company based in the United Kingdom. We are a lean team — everyone who works on Mekami plays games and uses the product daily. That keeps us honest.
We launched in 2024 with a simple belief: the best recommendation you can get is from someone who knows you, not a system that knows your click history.
The platform
Mekami is available on the web and on Android. iOS is coming soon. The web is free to browse without an account. Creating an account — also free — unlocks logging, ratings, lists, and the social feed.
We have no plans to sell your data, show banner ads, or charge for core features. Mekami exists because we want it to exist.
